CONTRACT POSITION

Integrated marketing agency seeks a talented web developer for a six-month contract with a strong likelihood of renewal. We are looking for someone willing to go the extra mile to make sure that a design is implemented with precision and that the code is elegant. We are not looking for a know-it-all, just a committed developer who wants to do great work for great clients. If you are that person, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

* Comfortable slicing layered Photoshop files

* Able to write semantic XHTML and clean CSS

* Have a good understanding of JavaScript and Ajax

* Working knowledge of PHP or Python / Django

* Able to set up databases and write SQL queries

* Not afraid to learn new technologies as needed

* Have an eye for detail and precision

Pluses:

* Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3

* SilverStripe or Drupal coding experience

* ActionScript / Flash development experience

* Video conversion and display knowledge (FLV, MP4, etc.)

* Experience developing applications for social media platforms

* Familiarity with the Mercurial revision control system

* Objective-C / iOS development experience

Direct responsibilities:

* Develop and test new projects

* Maintain current code base and enhance existing projects

* Collaborate with our staff to set standards and best practices

This is a six-month contract with a strong likelihood of renewal. We are open to telecommuting, work on site at our Tallahassee, Florida campus or a combination of both.
