Job Description:

The Royal Opera House produces some of the best opera and ballet in the world. Our website, www.roh.org.uk, is central to our activities, providing a highly effective information service and marketing tool.

We are now looking for a Digital Developer to deliver, maintain and develop both client-side and server-side components for the Royal Opera House group’s digital presence. Reporting to the Design and Development Manager, this will entail working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high quality service across a broad range of platforms. The position is offered on a fixed term contract of 50 weeks.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with these qualities

· Excellent development skills and experience in the .NET environment of creating and maintaining software components for multiple platforms

· Experience of working with large scale SQL databases to deliver online and interactive services

· Experience of delivering to project specifications and service level agreements

· Effective relationship management skills and experience of multi-disciplinary teamworking

· A related certification in the field of programming or development
